About the role
Intetics is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a short‑term, full‑time assignment. You will own backend development for digital map projects, selecting appropriate technologies and delivering robust solutions for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement software subsystems.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
- Interact directly with customers to gather requirements.
- Help shape the technical direction of the engineering group, including coding standards and Agile practices.
- Provide constructive assistance to fellow engineers to boost productivity.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive problem‑solver with a strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and customer collaboration.
Required skills
- Java programming.
- Experience with HERE OLP and OLP API.
- Python programming.
- GIS and GPS/mapping APIs.
- Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS).
