Senior Java Developer (Short term)

About the role

Intetics is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a short‑term, full‑time assignment. You will own backend development for digital map projects, selecting appropriate technologies and delivering robust solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software subsystems.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Interact directly with customers to gather requirements.
• Help shape the technical direction of the engineering group, including coding standards and Agile practices.
• Provide constructive assistance to fellow engineers to boost productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive problem‑solver with a strong desire to learn new technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and customer collaboration.

Required skills

• Java programming.
• Experience with HERE OLP and OLP API.
• Python programming.
• GIS and GPS/mapping APIs.
• Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS).
