Project Associate – Energy Transition

About the role

The Project Associate will support the implementation of the "Accelerating a Just Energy Transition in the Republic of Moldova" portfolio. The role focuses on administrative, logistical and financial tasks to ensure the project delivers its results on time and within UNDP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out administrative, logistical, travel, procurement, financial and asset management tasks in full compliance with UNDP rules and donor regulations.
• Support procurement of goods and services, prepare work, operation and procurement plans, and assist in quality control and impact assessment of project activities.
• Maintain filing systems, monitor data collection, and provide secretarial assistance for project meetings and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative and procurement support within an international development or UN environment.
• Knowledge of UNDP financial and donor compliance procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with UNDP teams and other UN agencies.
