Project Associate – Energy Transition

About the role

The Project Associate will support the implementation of the "Accelerating a Just Energy Transition in the Republic of Moldova" portfolio, contributing to the country’s shift toward renewable energy, efficiency and inclusive governance.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake administrative, logistical, travel, procurement, financial and asset management tasks in full compliance with UNDP rules, regulations and policies.
• Provide procurement support for goods and services required by the project, coordinating with relevant UNDP staff and units.
• Assist in preparing work plans, operation plans and procurement plans, and conduct periodic reviews.
• Support quality control of project activities, including impact assessment, output tracking and timely delivery.
• Maintain filing systems and documentation to enable operational and financial closure.
• Collect and monitor project data in line with work and procurement plans.
• Offer general secretarial and administrative assistance, liaising with UNDP teams and other UN agencies.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative and procurement support within an international development or UN context.
• Strong knowledge of UNDP financial and procurement regulations and ability to ensure full compliance.
