Data Annotator for Geospatial / LiDAR Project

About the role

You will support the creation of digital 3D twins of power grids by annotating and aligning geospatial data. The work combines LiDAR point clouds, GIS maps, and high‑resolution drone imagery to ensure accurate spatial representations for AI‑driven analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Reconstruct 3D power‑grid networks using LiDAR point‑cloud and GIS data.
• Place 3D objects such as poles, lines, and conductors to match real‑world layouts.
• Align 2D map data with 3D models for seamless integration.
• Label drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects.

Required profile

• Background in GIS, geodesy, cartography, land management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Strong spatial reasoning and ability to navigate 3D environments.
• English proficiency at B2 level (reading instructions, watching training videos, communicating).
• High attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and willingness to learn from feedback.
• PC with Intel i7‑11800H or better, dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or RTX 4060 recommended), and at least 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred).
