Middle Power BI Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Middle Power BI Analyst to join Ajax Systems’ data team. You will design and maintain automated reporting solutions that enable data‑driven decisions across our security‑system business.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data from databases, ERP systems, Google Sheets and APIs.
• Clean and transform raw data (data wrangling) to ensure quality.
• Build interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Choose appropriate visualisations to convey insights effectively.
• Provide ad‑hoc analytical support and answer business queries.
• Document data sources, analysis methodology and KPI calculations.
• Automate regular reporting and reduce manual effort using ETL tools or Power BI scheduling features.

Required profile

• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries with JOINs, CTEs and window functions.
• Experience designing and operating data pipelines and ETL processes for data warehouses or data lakes.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as Google BigQuery and Databricks.
• Ability to turn data insights into compelling stories that drive business decisions.
• Proficiency with the Power BI technology stack.
