Junior Asset Accountant

About the role

US Software Solutions, a software development company serving the utilities, telecommunications, energy efficiency, renewable energy and gas/electricity sectors, is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Asset Accountant for its accounting team. The role covers maintaining accurate asset records, calculating depreciation, reconciling balances and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures. The working schedule is Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 23:00.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain fixed and current assets in the accounting system.
• Calculate and record asset depreciation.
• Verify supporting documentation for asset acquisitions, transfers and disposals.
• Reconcile asset registers with accounting records.
• Participate in physical inventories and prepare asset reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and fixed asset management.
• Excellent verbal and written English (B2 and higher).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and a responsible approach to work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is an advantage.
