Financial Analyst

About the role

Ajax Systems, an international security-systems manufacturer with factories in Ukraine, Turkey and Vietnam, is looking for a Financial Analyst. The role supports budgeting, forecasting and financial control across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend actions to meet budget targets and find ways to use company resources optimally
• Prepare accurate monthly P&L and cash-flow projections and support budgeting and forecasting
• Analyse actual performance against budget and forecasts, flag variances, risks and opportunities, and give recommendations
• Monitor costs, identify optimization opportunities and help cost-control initiatives
• Support month-end and year-end closing and maintain high standards of financial reporting and transaction control
• Analyse business and financial processes and suggest improvements and automation
• Build financial models, business cases and valuations for new projects and investments
• Provide financial analysis and insights for management decisions

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large volumes of financial data
• Numerical skills, attention to detail and ability to turn data into clear business insights
• Solid understanding of P&L, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Experience in financial controlling, FP&A, management accounting or a similar finance role
• Experience in a large manufacturing or international company is an advantage
• English level B2+

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including Power Pivot, Power Query and PivotTables
• Power BI for financial analysis and reporting
