Accounting Specialist – Chișinău

About the role

Grafton is recruiting on behalf of a client, an international company in the consumer electronics and home appliances industry, for a Finance & Business Operations Specialist based in Chișinău, Moldova. The role manages local financial operations independently while supporting the administrative activities of a growing international business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, reconciliations and financial documentation
• Support monthly and year-end closing, financial reporting and bank operations, including payments and cash-flow monitoring
• Coordinate tax declarations, statutory reporting and communication with external accounting providers
• Monitor supplier and customer balances, invoices and payments
• Prepare payroll information with external providers and support contracts, supplier relations and office administration
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and help develop local financial processes

Required profile

• Solid hands-on accounting experience, preferably in an international business environment
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and local tax regulations
• Advanced English and strong organisational skills, attention to detail and independence

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage
