Cloud Security Expert – DevSecOps (AWS & Azure)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, DevOps‑mindset Cloud Security Expert to join a multi‑cloud engineering team serving an EU client. You will own the security of deployment pipelines across AWS and Azure, work in an agile environment, and present your work to advisory and security boards.

Key responsibilities

• Advise project and engineering teams on secure architecture design for multi‑cloud (AWS & Azure) environments.
• Deploy, review, and optimise security controls covering IAM, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, data protection and vulnerability management.
• Conduct security assessments, threat analyses and architectural reviews, delivering actionable remediation.
• Integrate automated security policies, static and dynamic code scans, and guardrails into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive operational vulnerability management and provide technical evidence for internal and external audits.
• Build reporting dashboards to monitor security controls and KPI compliance.
• Coordinate with technical leads, risk officers and external stakeholders to align security objectives.

• Experience acting as a security partner to engineering teams.
• Proven ability to embed compliance, threat protection and automated guardrails into cloud workloads.
• Comfort presenting technical work to advisory boards and senior stakeholders.
