Head of Network & Systems Operations Team

About the role

As Head of Network & Systems Operations, you keep the IT infrastructure running: networks, servers, storage and business-critical platforms. You lead the team that monitors the environment, prevents disruptions before they reach the business, resolves incidents quickly and delivers reliable solutions as the organization grows.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee network operations, ensuring high availability and minimal disruptions, with proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning of network devices and protocols.
• Maintain servers and SAN storage systems, including regular checks, updates and backups, and ensure optimal performance, storage utilization and data security.
• Manage UNIX and Windows environments, handling updates, patches and security configurations.
• Administer Active Directory, Exchange and file servers, including user accounts, access control, email services, file sharing, storage management and security, ensuring availability, data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
• Provide technical support and management for call center platforms to ensure uninterrupted service for customer-facing operations.
• Respond promptly to alerts, investigate incidents and work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and improvement projects, covering requirements definition, budget planning, vendor evaluation and selection, contract and stakeholder coordination and end-to-end implementation.

Required profile

• Strong background in managing networks, servers and storage systems, with hands-on experience in UNIX and Windows administration.
• Experience managing Active Directory, Exchange and file servers, and knowledge of call center platforms and related applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE) or Linux (RHCE) are a plus; experience in banking or financial services IT infrastructure is highly advantageous.
