Technical Solutions Sales Manager - Servers, Storage & Non-Apple Endpoints

About the role

Asbis is hiring a Technical Solutions Sales Manager in Chișinău, Moldova. You will sell and design IT infrastructure and end-user device solutions for companies and institutions: servers, storage and non-Apple endpoints such as laptops, desktops and workstations. You act as the client's technical advisor and own the deal from the first meeting to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and size solutions: rack/tower servers, SAN/NAS and flash storage, backup and DR, virtualization, plus fleets of business laptops, desktops and workstations
• Prepare technical proposals, configurations, bills of materials and commercial offers
• Run demos, pilots and technical workshops, and arrange device test units for clients
• Respond to public tenders on MTender with technical specifications, compliance and clarifications
• Plan device rollouts and refresh cycles, including volume pricing, imaging and deployment, warranty and on-site support packages
• Work with vendor and distributor managers on pricing, deal registration, stock and lead times
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms, close deals against revenue and margin targets, and drive renewals, expansions and bundled sales
• Maintain CRM, forecasts and sales reports, and track market trends and competitor offers

Required profile

• 2+ years in IT presales, sales engineering or technical B2B sales
• Fluent Romanian and Russian, good English

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of servers, storage, networking basics, virtualization and backup
• Ability to explain technical solutions in business terms
