National Consultant – Strategic Communication, Social Media & Personal Branding

About the role

UN Women is seeking experienced national consultants to strengthen capacity in strategic communication, social media, public speaking, media presence and personal branding. The consultants will support UN Women’s programmes in Moldova by delivering tailored training and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver workshops on strategic communication and effective use of social media platforms.
• Provide coaching on public speaking, media engagement and personal branding for staff and partners.
• Develop training materials, toolkits and guidelines aligned with UN Women’s gender‑equality objectives.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of communication strategies for UN Women initiatives.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the impact of capacity‑building activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communication, social media management, public speaking and media training.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver capacity‑building programmes.
• Familiarity with gender‑equality issues and UN Women’s mandate.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in the Moldovan context.
