Link Building Specialist

About the role

We are a CPA firm managing 16 websites and rely on organic search for growth outside tax season. As a Link Building Specialist you will join a focused, agile SEO team in a fully remote, full‑time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to media and journalist inquiries on expert‑quote platforms such as CNBC, MarketWatch, Yahoo and Forbes.
• Audit competitor backlink profiles across sites and regions to pinpoint high‑authority sources like chambers of commerce, businesses and industry associations.
• Acquire high‑authority links through targeted outreach, strategic partnerships and collaboration with local organisations.
• Maintain a central tracking system for all acquired links, providing weekly reports on new backlinks and domain‑authority changes.

Required profile

• Exceptional organisational skills – able to manage multiple outreach pipelines without reminders.
• Fluent written English communication.
• Comfortable using AI writing assistants and refining their output.
• Advanced analytical ability with spreadsheets for tracking, reporting and analysis.
