Technical Writer – Cloud & API Documentation

About the role

Intetics Inc. is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join its global team. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to produce high‑quality documentation that simplifies complex cloud technologies, APIs, and developer tools for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the company knowledge base, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Establish documentation standards, style guides, templates, and best practices.
• Design and optimize documentation structure, navigation, and information architecture.
• Manage documentation toolchains, including version control, static site generators, and publishing workflows.
• Create developer guides, API docs, tutorials, release notes, and product documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather technical information and verify content.
• Translate complex cloud architectures, micro‑services, and REST APIs into clear documentation.
• Plan, track, and deliver documentation projects within Agile environments.
• Analyze usage metrics and user feedback to close content gaps.
• Monitor support tickets and community channels to proactively address documentation needs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience creating technical documentation for developers or IT professionals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, English, or a related field.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand software development concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working with Agile development processes.

Required skills

• Python, Java, JavaScript (ability to read source code).
• Git/GitHub for version control.
• Markdown or reStructuredText.
• OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman for API documentation.
• Confluence, GitBook, Read the Docs, Document360 or similar documentation platforms.
