Logistics Technical Officer – Moldova

About the role

The Logistics Technical Officer will provide technical supervision and support to day‑to‑day logistics operations in Moldova, ensuring compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements and humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for supply and logistics operations, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, issuing and delivering goods.
• Supervise logistics officers (procurement, fleet, assets, stock) and ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, SOPs and donor requirements.
• Maintain procurement records, update procurement trackers, manage the vendor database and support the Agresso procurement module.
• Oversee asset registration, tagging and regular checks, and assist other logistics units as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of logistics experience in an INGO or humanitarian context, with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Fluency in English and Romanian (written and spoken) and legal right to work in Moldova.
• Demonstrated ability to work in complex, volatile environments and to coordinate across multiple departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Agresso procurement module and related tools (ETB, EFS, ECM, WMS).
• Experience in maintaining procurement and asset tracking systems and conducting vendor due‑diligence processes.
