Logistics Technical Officer

About the role

The Logistics Technical Officer ensures technical supervision and support to day‑to‑day implementation of logistics functions for the NRC Country Office in Moldova.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision and support for supply and logistics operations, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, issuing and delivering goods.
• Ensure compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements and internal regulations for all logistics activities.
• Prepare procurement reports, maintain procurement trackers and support competitive‑bidding procedures.
• Supervise logistics officers (procurement, fleet, assets, stock) and guide the use of Agresso, ETB, EFS, ECM and WMS systems.
• Maintain accurate paper and electronic records, asset registry and vendor database, including due‑diligence checks.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree and at least two years of logistics experience in an INGO or humanitarian context.
• Fluency in English and Romanian (written and spoken).
• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple departments and to work in complex, volatile environments.
• Legal right to work in Moldova.

• Agresso procurement module.
• ETB, EFS, ECM and WMS systems.
• Procurement tracking tools (PR & PO trackers, RFQ, waiver management).
• Vendor due‑diligence and market assessment.
• Asset registration, tagging and inventory management.
