Logistics Specialist

About the role

An Logistics Specialist is the key role in any relocation project. It involves overseeing and arranging all processes involved in relocating transferees and their household goods, from planning routes and scheduling overseas agents to ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, route, and book freight for import/export, especially USG‑impelled cargo.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, contracts, tenders and tariffs.
• Collaborate with overseas agents, freight forwarders, steamship lines, customs brokers and port agents.
• Track and manage shipment schedules and handle export clearance of personally owned vehicles.
• Support management with rate filings, one‑time‑only quoting and various projects.

Required profile

• Fluent English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in transportation or logistics.
• Strong interpersonal communication, both oral and written.
• Willingness to work US/UK business hours.
