Lead Dispatcher – Profitability & Operations

About the role

FivePlus is looking for a Lead Dispatcher who will act as a growth engineer for the trucking industry, operating at the decision layer of logistics. You will bridge dispatch, profitability, and systems design for our U.S. and Canadian carrier clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design load flow, capacity management and risk‑adjusted booking strategies.
• Build profitability architecture and SOPs that align dispatch with long‑term business strategy.
• Negotiate with brokers, retain drivers and resolve conflicts under pressure.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of trucking economics and true profitability models.
• Leadership mindset with experience building SOPs and training teams.
• Ability to think like a systems engineer and apply engineering logic to logistics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TMS and load boards.
• Advanced Excel modeling and cost‑structure analysis.
• Experience with BI/AI dashboards for data‑driven decision making.
