Export Logistics Lead

About the role

Ajax Systems is seeking an Export Logistics Lead to manage end‑to‑end distribution of finished security devices from its Polish hub to global markets. You will ensure timely, compliant shipments while optimizing costs and maintaining high service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound dispatches from regional distribution centers to customers and authorized distributors worldwide, maintaining OTIF, order lead time and cargo integrity.
• Handle export compliance and customs clearance through Polish customs systems, preparing full documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, EUR.1, ATR, export declaration) and managing battery‑related dangerous goods regulations.
• Manage contracts and performance of international carriers (road, air, express), conduct KPI audits, and lead freight procurement tenders to reduce transport costs.
• Align dispatch schedules with warehouse/WMS teams, support BPM 4.0 initiatives such as real‑time cargo tracking and EDI/API integration.
• Develop contingency plans and alternative routing to mitigate border blockades, peak‑season pressures and geopolitical disruptions.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of export or distribution logistics experience in Poland/EU, preferably in consumer electronics, high‑tech, IoT or automotive sectors.
• Advanced knowledge of Incoterms 2020 (DAP, DPU, CPT, FCA, DDP) and EU customs regulations, including intra‑Community supplies and exports to third countries.
• Proficiency in English (B2+) for professional correspondence and negotiations; native or fluent Ukrainian/Russian.
• Strong analytical mindset with high stress tolerance and an OTIF‑driven service orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, financial modeling) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• ERP experience (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalents) and modern WMS/TMS solutions.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Lean principles for transportation waste reduction.
• Practical knowledge of HS/CN classification, export control rules and dangerous‑goods regulations for lithium‑ion batteries (ADR, IATA DGR).
