DevOps Engineer (RPA Domain)

About the role

A client, a market leader in contact center robotic process automation (RPA), is hiring a DevOps Deployment Engineer. The project covers deployment, automation and infrastructure operations for its hosted contact center automation platform, which powers over 1 billion automated actions annually. The engineer works with complex environments, supporting installations, upgrades, releases, hot fixes and service packs across development, testing and production, and collaborates with DevSecOps, development, QA and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, automate and support deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions with the DevSecOps team
• Plan and coordinate product releases, hot fixes and service packs across development, test and production
• Improve deployment processes and tools so releases are faster, more reliable and easier to scale
• Support monitoring, alerting and logging solutions to keep systems healthy and performant
• Work with development, QA and operations teams to investigate and resolve deployment issues
• Create and maintain deployment documentation, runbooks and best-practice guides
• Stay up to date with DevOps, cloud infrastructure and automation trends and share practical ideas

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, ideally focused on deployment automation and infrastructure management
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in distributed environments and strong problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and collaboration skills in a team setting

Required skills

• Scripting with Python, Shell, PowerShell or similar
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Azure or GCP also acceptable)
• Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI
