DevOps Engineer

About the role

Coherent Solutions, a global digital product engineering company founded in 1995, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its DevOps practice. This is a strategic role that is not initially tied to a specific client project, supporting future client needs across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, containers, observability and troubleshooting, with different technology stacks and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Create and support CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure
• Deploy, operate and troubleshoot containerized applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Work with development and QA teams on build, deployment, configuration and runtime issues
• Configure monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerts
• Take part in incident investigations, root cause analysis and reliability improvements
• Automate routine infrastructure and operational tasks with scripts
• Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, environment setup and platform improvement
• Apply cloud and CI/CD security best practices, including IAM/RBAC, secrets management and secure pipeline configuration
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with distributed teams and client-side technical stakeholders

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, Platform Engineering, Build/Release Engineering or a related role
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with IaC, preferably Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo or similar
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes or managed container platforms, Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python or PowerShell)
• Monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK, Splunk or New Relic
• Understanding of networking and cloud security fundamentals
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools
• B2-level English or higher

• Multiple cloud platforms, Helm, Kustomize, Argo CD, Flux, GitOps, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, OpenTofu, Bicep, ARM templates, Pulumi
• Production Kubernetes clusters, observability stacks, distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, Loki, Alertmanager
• DevSecOps tools (Trivy, SonarQube, Veracode, Snyk, Checkov, tfsec, CodeQL)
• Regulated industries or compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GxP)
• Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, cloud migrations, high availability, disaster recovery, cost optimization
• Data platform infrastructure (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Flink, Hadoop, NiFi, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB)
• Certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, CKA, CKAD, CKS or Terraform Associate
