Business Analyst - System Integrations (Medical Management)

About the role

The client is a nonprofit organization supporting patients and healthcare professionals through research, technology and care programmes. It is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to support integration initiatives, working with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, QA engineers and external partners. The analyst turns business needs into functional and technical requirements for complex system integrations, APIs, data flows and enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on business processes, integration needs and system requirements.
• Translate needs into functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process and data flows.
• Analyse existing systems and integrations to find dependencies, impacts, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Work with architects and developers on integration requirements, including APIs, interfaces, data mappings, transformations and error handling.
• Facilitate requirements discussions and resolve ambiguities on responsibilities and ownership.
• Document API and integration requirements, including source and target systems, field mappings, business rules and interface behaviour.
• Support investigation and root-cause analysis of integration and data issues.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and share requirements, decisions and changes across teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong experience with system integrations and enterprise applications.
• Experience documenting integration requirements and working with middleware and integration platforms such as WSO2, MuleSoft or similar.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers and product and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• REST APIs, web services, JSON/XML and API specifications.
• Data mapping, data transformations and integration patterns.
• Nice to have: FHIR and healthcare integrations, Oracle Cloud Fusion or Salesforce.
