Data Engineer / Apache Airflow Specialist

About the role

Intetics is seeking an experienced Data Engineer specialized in Apache Airflow to join its distributed team. The role focuses on large‑scale ETL workflows, data indexing, and performance optimization for a data‑driven project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, orchestrate, and maintain complex Apache Airflow DAGs for ETL and data‑processing pipelines.
• Build and optimize Python‑based ETL scripts, integrating with Flask APIs when needed.
• Design and manage Elasticsearch indexing and performance‑tuning workflows.
• Handle Unix/Linux scripting and operations for automation and monitoring.
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases for large‑scale data processing.
• Implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment stages.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience with Apache Airflow DAG orchestration.
• Minimum 5 years of Python development, preferably with ETL focus.
• 3+ years of experience with Elasticsearch, Unix/Linux, and Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Advanced English proficiency and a technical degree.
