Project Officer – EU‑funded Unity Hub Moldova Project

About the role

The Project Officer will support the implementation of the EU‑funded Unity Hub Moldova Project, which aims to facilitate the orderly mobility of Ukrainian displaced persons in Moldova and strengthen human‑capital and cooperation frameworks for Ukraine’s recovery. The role is based in the ICMPD Chisinau Office and works under the supervision of the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination and monitoring of project activities related to displacement management.
• Support the development of tools and procedures that ensure the orderly mobility of Ukrainian displaced persons.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia to align project actions with regional strategies.
• Prepare reports, documentation and communication materials for EU donors and partners.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of human‑capital initiatives that aid Ukraine’s recovery.

Required profile

• Must be a national of Moldova.
• Proficiency in English, Romanian and Russian is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian is considered an asset.
• Availability to work on‑site in Chisinau.
• Position is subject to funds availability.
