Ukrainian QA Team Lead (Remote, Hourly Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a Ukrainian Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across AI training projects. This hourly, remote contractor position will involve reviewing AI‑generated Ukrainian content, evaluating output against project guidelines, and providing precise written feedback to ensure high‑quality training data.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Ukrainian items, identify quality issues, and provide ongoing feedback through direct messages.
• Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new guidelines, project changes, and quality expectations.
• Answer trainer/QA questions on wording, grammar, cultural context, and edge cases promptly.
• Activate inactive contributors by reaching out, tracking follow‑ups, and flagging availability concerns.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, FAQs, quality notes, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and conduct onboarding and training calls to explain workflows, rubrics, and Ukrainian‑specific style requirements.
• Ensure consistent application of Ukrainian language guidelines across the team.
• Identify recurring quality issues and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Fluent in Ukrainian and English with excellent written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate linguistic accuracy, fluency, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Experience managing quality workflows in remote, distributed teams.
