AI Engineer & Technical Product Owner

About the role

Foxelli is looking for a founding AI Engineer who will act as a technical product owner, turning ideas into functional prototypes at rapid speed. You will work directly with the founder to design, build, and iterate AI‑driven systems that support both internal e‑commerce operations and future B2B SaaS products.

Key responsibilities

• Research, prototype, and select the best AI models across LLMs, diffusion, and vision domains.
• Develop end‑to‑end pipelines from model R&D to scalable web applications using Next.js and FastAPI.
• Build lean MVPs, test them in real‑world e‑commerce workflows, and iterate for production readiness.
• Orchestrate multiple AI models into autonomous “agentic” workflows.
• Integrate diverse APIs and serverless GPU providers (e.g., Replicate, Fal, RunPod) to create seamless automated systems.

Required profile

• Modern developer who leverages AI‑assisted coding tools (GPT‑Codex, Claude, Replit) to accelerate development.
• AI generalist comfortable with LLMs, diffusion, and computer‑vision models.
• Agile, fast learner able to master new frameworks or APIs over a weekend.
• Hacker mindset focused on ROI, building MVPs, and scaling only proven solutions.
• Architecture‑aware with experience designing multi‑model agentic pipelines.
