Ticketing & Airfare Specialist

About the role

Volare Vitae is a specialised travel and logistics company supporting complex international projects, including EU institutions. We are looking for a Ticketing & Airfare Specialist to join our growing team and ensure accurate, efficient airline bookings and ticketing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, re‑issue, and amend airline tickets with precision.
• Handle fare calculations, routing logic and meet ticketing deadlines.
• Apply fare rules and airline policies to changes, cancellations and re‑bookings.
• Manage complex itineraries and booking updates using Amadeus.
• Verify reservation accuracy, ticket conditions and compliance.
• Support travel consultants on technical ticketing cases.
• Monitor schedule changes and take timely corrective actions.

Required profile

• Highly detail‑oriented, structured and precise.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communicator in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proven experience in airfare, ticketing and travel operations.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Amadeus (GDS) – accreditation preferred.
• Solid understanding of fare rules, airline policies and ticketing procedures.
• Experience with ticket reissues, exchanges and complex flight changes.
