Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Alvys, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our cloud‑native platform that serves the transportation logistics market. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build scalable, robust systems that keep our multi‑tenant SaaS solution highly available for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and availability of all production systems and services.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and build scalable, robust infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and incident response using infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud‑native tools.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, perform root‑cause analysis and drive post‑mortem improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development or SRE experience with a modern language (Python, Go, Java, etc.).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix environments and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
• Proficiency with configuration‑management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and operate services on Microsoft Azure.
• Analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot under high‑pressure conditions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud security best practices, performance tuning, and incident response.
