Senior Data Product Manager & Owner

About the role

Reporting to the Data Strategy & Enablement Sr Manager, the EMEA Data Product Manager & Owner is responsible for the full lifecycle of data products—from vision and roadmap to release, adoption and value delivery. You will translate business outcomes into product capabilities, manage scope, embed governance and privacy by design, and orchestrate delivery across a complex, matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define a 12‑24‑month product vision, value hypotheses and outcome‑based roadmap aligned with enterprise standards and local needs.
• Convert outcomes into prioritized epics and stories, lead backlog refinement, uphold Definition of Ready/Done and balance features with reliability, observability, cost and sustainability.
• Establish VIPs/KPIs/OKRs (adoption, time‑to‑data, data trust, NPS, ROI) and run quarterly value reviews to iterate the roadmap.
• Embed privacy, security, quality and lifecycle controls into every increment, ensuring GDPR compliance and data residency.
• Maintain versioned data contracts, schemas and semantic layers to guarantee interoperability across domains.
• Reuse enterprise platforms and reference architectures, driving scalability while meeting country‑specific requirements.
• Lead stakeholder communication, manage dependencies, prepare business cases and release notes, and champion adoption through documentation and community channels.
• Own product budgets, forecast benefits, track ROI and report performance to sponsors and finance partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7‑10+ years of product management/ownership experience on data platforms, analytics or digital strategy.
• Proven track record delivering data products from concept to scaled adoption.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, regulatory frameworks, security and AI ethics.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to influence executive, technical and non‑technical audiences.
