Project Manager – SDG Finance

About the role

The Project Manager will support the effective administrative, operational and financial management of the BIOFIN project in Moldova, contributing to the development of the country’s first national Biodiversity Finance Plan and aligning financing with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative, operational and financial management for the BIOFIN project, ensuring effective planning, contracting, monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate implementation activities with the Climate Change, Environment and Energy Cluster and Green Finance Specialists.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement and compliance with UNDP and donor regulations.
• Facilitate the development and institutionalization of biodiversity finance mechanisms in line with the Kunming‑Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
