Manager, Clinical Data Management

About the role

We are seeking a strong people leader to head our Clinical Data Management team within the Data Sciences Department. The role oversees end‑to‑end delivery of data management services, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational efficiency by creating and documenting department procedures.
• Define departmental objectives aligned with company strategy and address business challenges.
• Manage working groups to close process gaps and optimize data management technology.
• Participate in budget planning, forecasting, and financial management for projects and staff.
• Evaluate and select data system vendors (e.g., EDC, IRT, ePRO, eConsent) to enhance processes.
• Hire, onboard, train, and mentor staff while maintaining morale and performance.
• Oversee data management deliverables to meet quality, timeline, and cost expectations.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on data collection strategy and ensure clinical databases are designed to support analysis and regulatory submissions.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in clinical data management or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Experience in process improvement and change management.
