Junior AI Automation Engineer

About the role

Immigrant Invest is seeking a Junior AI Automation Engineer to join its AI Automation team. You will support and improve more than 60 production workflows that power customer operations, AI chat agents, voice automation, CRM integrations, document generation, and internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production automation workflows.
• Investigate alerts, identify root causes, and implement retries, error handling, and monitoring improvements.
• Produce weekly system‑health reports and proactively enhance workflow reliability.
• Maintain and extend existing AI‑powered automation systems using platforms such as Make, n8n, and Zapier.
• Develop AI‑driven solutions with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs for document generation, text processing, and multilingual analysis.
• Clean up legacy workflows, reduce technical debt, and document system behavior and operational procedures.
• Assist senior engineers on Python projects and build small internal automation projects as responsibilities grow.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience building and maintaining production automations.
• Experience supporting automation systems after deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
• Clear communication of technical issues.
• Advanced proficiency in English; Russian language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Automation platforms: n8n, Make, Zapier (or similar).
• REST APIs, webhooks, HTTP requests, JSON.
• Python for code review and edits.
• LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• SQL or PostgreSQL familiarity.
• Google Workspace integrations.
