Head of Strategic Partnerships & Operations

About the role

As the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Operations at FivePlus, you will combine business development, operational leadership, and strategic execution to drive growth for the company’s intelligence‑based dispatch platform. Based in Chișinău, you will be responsible for identifying high‑potential carrier partners, building dedicated dispatcher teams, and ensuring operational excellence across every partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard U.S. carriers that align with FivePlus’s long‑term, data‑driven model.
• Develop proposals, negotiate agreements and manage the onboarding process while maintaining strong executive relationships.
• Recruit, assess and assign dispatchers to carrier‑dedicated teams, matching skill profiles to carrier goals.
• Monitor team performance, enforce standards of precision and accountability, and intervene in complex operational cases.
• Track key performance metrics, generate insights for the Founder and refine workflows for scalability.
• Design repeatable processes for onboarding, training and performance tracking, contributing to data‑driven initiatives and BI systems.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on long‑term growth strategies and system architecture.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, operations or business development.
• Strong understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, the U.S. trucking industry.
• Proven track record in leading teams and managing client relationships.
• Deep knowledge of carrier operations, profitability drivers and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with familiarity of CRM or reporting systems.
• Bilingual in English and Romanian or Russian is a strong plus.
