Head of Network & Systems Operations

About the role

As Head of Network & Systems Operations you will ensure the continuous availability of the bank’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage and critical platforms. You will lead a team that monitors the environment, prevents disruptions, resolves incidents quickly and delivers reliable solutions as the organization grows.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee network monitoring and management to guarantee high availability and minimal disruptions.
• Administer server and SAN infrastructure, performing regular checks, updates, backups and performance tuning.
• Manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, applying patches, updates and security configurations.
• Maintain Active Directory, Exchange and File Server environments, handling user accounts, access control, email services and data integrity.
• Provide technical support for Call Center platforms to ensure uninterrupted service for customer‑facing operations.
• Respond to alerts, investigate incidents and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for rapid resolution.
• Lead infrastructure modernization projects, defining requirements, budgeting, evaluating vendors and overseeing end‑to‑end implementation.

Required profile

• Strong background in managing networks, servers and storage systems.
• Hands‑on experience with UNIX and Windows OS administration.
• Experience in banking or financial services IT infrastructure is highly advantageous.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
