About the role

Join BairesDev as a Google Cloud Platform Architect and lead the transformation of legacy mainframe systems into modern cloud-native applications. You will work on AI‑driven modernization projects, collaborating with global engineering teams and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and drive application modernization initiatives, re‑architecting legacy and mainframe‑class systems for GCP.
• Design and implement data architecture solutions on GCP, including BigQuery and analytics pipelines.
• Communicate with client stakeholders to convey the business impact of modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams within a fully GCP‑based environment.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, specifically with Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven track record in application modernization, converting legacy systems to Java, Go, or .NET on cloud platforms.
• Strong background in data architecture on GCP, including BigQuery and pipeline design.
• Consulting or professional services experience with client‑facing delivery.
• Experience with AI engineering practices such as harness engineering or spec‑driven design.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
