Full Stack Engineer (Mid-Level)

About the role

AI Digital is seeking a mid‑level Full‑Stack Engineer to join its AI & Automation Engineering team. You will work on the Internal Operational Platform, a product that automates workflows across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full‑stack applications using Java/Spring Boot and React/TypeScript.
• Develop new functionality for the platform while supporting existing applications.
• Transform AI‑generated MVPs into production‑ready services with clean backend logic, typed APIs, and PostgreSQL schemas.
• Design and manage PostgreSQL schemas and migrations with Liquibase.
• Implement REST APIs using an OpenAPI contract‑first approach and integrate them with typed frontend clients.
• Connect applications to BigQuery and ensure reliable data publishing flows.
• Maintain backend observability with Spring Boot Actuator, Prometheus metrics, and structured logging.
• Contribute to testing, monitoring, maintenance, and production support.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Maven, Liquibase, Spring Security and OpenAPI.
• Practical knowledge of React, TypeScript and server‑state management (e.g., TanStack Query).
• Experience integrating with data warehouses such as BigQuery and external APIs.
• Understanding of authentication, persistence, logging, monitoring, testing and maintainability in production environments.
• Hands‑on use of AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude/Anthropic, OpenAI, Replit AI) to review and improve generated code.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders in an evolving product setting.
• English level B2 or higher with strong verbal and written communication skills.
