Financial Controller (Remote)

About the role

Family Office is seeking an experienced finance professional to take on the role of Financial Controller. The successful candidate will own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of financial processes, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting and robust financial controls across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage accounting operations for several companies operating in different jurisdictions.
• Build financial controlling processes from scratch and continuously refine them as the business evolves.
• Design, implement and improve internal financial control procedures.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports.
• Manage and support external audits.
• Respond promptly to finance‑related queries from the CEO or Head of Finance.
• Effectively coordinate external consultants and legal advisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, financial control or treasury, with solid IFRS knowledge.
• BIG‑4 experience is highly preferred.
• Proven hands‑on experience building financial controlling processes from the ground up and adapting them.
• Deep technical understanding of accounting principles.
• ACCA qualification (completed or near‑completed) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fast learner comfortable in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
• Ability to manage external consultants and legal advisors.
• English and Russian at upper‑intermediate level or higher.
