Financial Analyst

About the role

Ajax Systems, a leading European security‑technology manufacturer, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support strategic decision‑making and drive financial performance across the business. The role will involve building robust financial models, analysing investment opportunities and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives and long‑term planning.
• Prepare business cases and scenario analyses for new investment projects, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, delivering accurate monthly P&L and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Analyse financial performance, conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure the quality of financial reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation of reporting and collaboration with BI teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial controlling or investment analysis.
• Proven ability to build complex financial models and conduct thorough business performance analysis.
• Upper‑intermediate (B2) or higher proficiency in English.
• Experience in a large international or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (Power Pivot, Power Query, Pivot Tables).
• ERP systems knowledge, preferably SAP.
• Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
