Experienced Audit Associate – EU Funds

About the role

PwC Moldova is seeking an Experienced Audit Associate to join its Audit and Assurance team. You will work on EU‑funds related engagements, providing independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls and regulatory compliance for large, international clients in banking and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate directly with seniors or managers on assigned tasks and overall engagement progress.
• Coordinate and review work performed by shared service centres.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, contributing to practice growth.
• Identify potential issues and propose strategies to overcome them.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Audit or Economic Informatics.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting or audit.
• Ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
• Good written English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and self‑motivation.
