Deputy Manager – EU Funds Assurance

About the role

PwC’s Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services practice is expanding its EU Funds Assurance team in Moldova. As a Deputy Manager you will lead audit assignments on projects funded by the European Union and local authorities, working closely with clients and cross‑border teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit assignments on EU‑funded thematic areas.
• Maintain daily communication with clients and auditees.
• Supervise field work, define risk‑based audit strategies and develop audit programmes.
• Collaborate with international teams across time zones using digital audit tools.
• Monitor project deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance or Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial audit, consultancy or accounting services.
• Master’s degree in economics or finance.
• Audit certification in progress is a plus.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
