Cleaner (G1) – Temporary Roster Position

About the role

The OSCE Mission to Moldova is looking for a reliable Cleaner (G1) to join its temporary assistance roster. The position is open to Moldovan nationals and involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the Mission’s premises in Chisinau on an as‑required basis.

Key responsibilities

• Dust furniture, clean doors, windows, toilets, sinks and floors (mopping, vacuuming, washing).
• Operate and unload dishwashers, maintain coffee machines, kettles and microwaves, and clean dishes and utensils.
• Empty refrigerators, dispose of expired items and manage waste and recyclables.
• Monitor and replenish kitchen and cleaning supplies, reporting low stock to the supervisor.
• Prepare meeting rooms with water, glasses, cups, napkins and light refreshments upon request.
• Maintain plants in common areas and report any maintenance issues.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Primary education completed.
• At least one year of experience cleaning offices or similar premises.
• Good communication skills in Romanian and Russian.
• Ability to work with people of diverse nationalities, religions and cultures.
• Resident of the Republic of Moldova.

Required skills

• General cleaning equipment operation.
• Dishwasher operation.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of EUR 522.16 (tax‑exempt).
• Flexible contract length ranging from one day to six months, with possible extensions.
