Accountant – Fixed-Term (6 months)

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join Safeguard Global on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is fully remote and focuses on maintaining the financial health of our entities, preparing reports, and supporting audit and tax activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality monthly financial reports, reviewing P&L and balance‑sheet items.
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations, analyse cash positions and monitor cash flow.
• Assist the Accounts Receivable team with invoicing and debt identification.
• Execute intercompany reconciliations and manage market‑related AP and liabilities.
• Process month‑end journal entries ensuring financial control and compliance.
• Identify and highlight potential financial risks to the business.
• Support local accounting, tax and audit professionals with required documentation.
• Provide ad‑hoc reports and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience or exposure to multinational business environments is a plus.
• Strong data‑analysis capabilities and excellent written English communication.
• Proven ability to design and implement process improvements.
