Senior QA Automation Engineer (C# & Java, Selenium/Playwright)

About the role

Software Mind is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated testing solutions for global clients. You will work on a project that strengthens health, safety, and risk‑management capabilities for large organisations by delivering reliable, secure and scalable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using C#, Playwright, Selenium and related technologies.
• Establish framework guardrails, standards and reusable components to improve reliability, maintainability and scalability.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI or similar) and generate clear execution reports.
• Mentor team members on automation best practices, code reviews and framework adoption.
• Drive automation strategy, implement AI‑assisted testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and continuously improve test quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional developers, product owners and DevOps engineers to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Required profile

• Strong experience with .NET applications and services.
• Hands‑on expertise with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) and Selenium.
• Proven background in REST API testing and API automation.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Ability to mentor others and drive automation best practices.
