Senior Financial Data Analyst / FP&A Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Data Analyst / FP&A Business Partner to help the leadership understand profitability, cash flow and performance. You will work closely with founders and cross‑functional teams to turn financial and operational data into clear recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve executive dashboards covering revenue, profit, margins, COGS, OpEx, refunds, payouts and cash flow.
• Analyse profitability across products, customers, providers, geographies, channels and lead sources.
• Create P&L, gross margin, contribution margin, unit‑economics models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Identify cost leaks, overspending, inefficient vendors and margin risks.
• Partner with finance, accounting, product, operations, sales and marketing to connect business activity with financial outcomes.
• Reconcile business data with invoices, payouts, payment systems, taxes and accounting records.
• Present recommendations to founders and senior leadership on pricing, cost optimisation, product profitability, hiring and growth decisions.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of experience in financial analytics, FP&A or business analytics.
• Strong experience with financial modelling, P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Expert‑level SQL and hands‑on experience with BigQuery.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting basics, financial statements, revenue, COGS, OpEx and cash flow.
