Senior AI Product Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Product Engineer to build the AI operating layer behind our lead‑generation marketplace. You will turn ambiguous, high‑value business problems into reliable, production‑grade AI systems that directly impact key business metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑impact product and operational problems, define success criteria, and ship end‑to‑end AI solutions.
• Design and deliver customer‑facing AI features and internal automations for lead quality, matching, prediction, call intelligence, CRM, and support.
• Build agentic workflows that safely integrate tools, APIs, databases, SMS, email and other systems with human approval where needed.
• Create and maintain the context layer for models, including instructions, retrieval, memory, structured outputs, tool definitions and feedback loops.
• Implement robust event‑driven and scheduled automation using webhooks, queues, retries, idempotency, audit logs and graceful fallbacks.
• Develop evaluation datasets and automated quality checks covering usefulness, accuracy, latency and cost.
• Investigate production failures, improve the full system and turn successful solutions into reusable components.

Required profile

• Proven track record of building and shipping production SaaS or marketplace software end‑to‑end.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills with solid backend fundamentals (APIs, databases, auth, testing, deployment).
• Hands‑on experience delivering LLM‑powered functionality using model APIs, structured outputs, tool calling and retrieval.
• Expertise in production automation (webhooks, events, queues, schedules, monitoring, failure recovery).
• Fluent English (C1+) and ability to communicate clearly with US‑based stakeholders.
• Product ownership mindset: can clarify goals, make trade‑offs and link technical decisions to business KPIs.
