SAP Application Support (Tier 1)

About the role

Gilat Satellite Networks is looking for a Tier 1 Application Support professional to provide first‑line assistance for SAP and related business applications. You will be the initial point of contact for global users, handling incidents, service requests, and ensuring continuous system availability.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, and diagnose application incidents and service requests.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and resolution for SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
• Escalate complex issues to higher‑level support teams with clear documentation.
• Communicate status and resolutions to users worldwide.
• Collaborate with the Business Applications team to maintain stable operations.

Required profile

• Experience in IS support, application support, or help‑desk environments.
• Familiarity with corporate or global application landscapes.
• Strong technical orientation and quick learning ability.
• Excellent written and spoken English for interaction with global users.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Salesforce (advantage).
• Experience with service management tools such as SysAid (advantage).
