QA Architect – Lead Test Automation & AI Integration

About the role

We are seeking a senior QA Architect to lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks for a B2B project. The role combines deep quality assurance expertise with AI‑driven productivity tools to deliver high‑quality software at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build frontend test automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright or Selenium.
• Create backend test automation frameworks, preferably with RestSharp.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab.
• Implement consumer‑driven contract testing using Pact.
• Define comprehensive test strategies and quality policies for customers.
• Conduct QA assessments, identify process improvements, and drive quality initiatives.
• Mentor and support other QA engineers.
• Develop proofs of concept for new automation solutions and present recommendations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in a Lead QA or QA Architect role.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑powered assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve testing productivity.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and their impact on testing.
• Comfortable working in Agile, AI‑native engineering environments.
