Photo Retoucher – Fashion E‑commerce

About the role

Join CloudX's Design team in Chisinau to provide high‑quality post‑production for international fashion e‑commerce. You will be the dedicated creative resource for ghost‑mannequin and flat‑lay product imagery that appears on customer‑facing product pages.

Key responsibilities

• Retouch ghost‑mannequin and flat‑lay images in Photoshop, applying masking, liquify, clean‑up, colour correction and garment reconstruction to preserve natural shape and drape.
• Maintain visual consistency across full product sets and seasons (colour, exposure, crop, alignment, shadows).
• Run AI‑based first‑pass retouching, then manually review, correct and finalize every image.
• Identify recurring AI failures (collapsed shoulders, wrong sleeve placement, inflated silhouettes) and provide feedback to improve tool settings.
• Perform a human quality check on each image, rejecting any that look unnatural.
• Apply brand‑specific retouching guidelines and taxon requirements accurately across multiple brands.
• Handle files according to naming, versioning, colour‑profile and output specifications for downstream systems.
• Collaborate with the photography team at Index capture stations to resolve source issues.
• Engage with brand and e‑commerce stakeholders for feedback and evolving image standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience retouching fashion product imagery, including ghost‑mannequin and flat‑lay work.
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop with a strong eye for detail and consistency.
• Ability to work at high daily volumes while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with photography and brand teams.

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop (masking, liquify, colour correction, batch processing).
• AI retouching tool for automated first‑pass processing.
• Image file management (naming, versioning, colour profiles, output specifications).
