Junior Tax Consultant (Hybrid, Full-time)

About the role

Join EY as a Junior Tax Consultant and support the accuracy and compliance of financial entries in our local accounting system. This hybrid, full‑time position offers a fast‑paced environment where you will develop core tax, payroll and accounting skills while working with diverse clients.

Key responsibilities

• Summarise outcomes of client meetings and seek clarification when needed.
• Communicate work status and issues to the team promptly.
• Maintain constant communication with clients’ personnel.
• Manage accounting, payroll, tax compliance and reporting in line with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Learn and use internal tools to manage tax activities effectively.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• Keen eye for detail and strong analytical mindset.
• Fluency in Romanian and English.
• Motivated to start a career in professional services.
• Growth‑oriented, innovative and inclusive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (common functions, conditional formatting).
